Like the bullet trains that connect cities across Japan, Shinkansen speaks of transience and speed. Our inspiration is drawn from the energies of the metropolis, rail tracks and city lights. Custom built and designed using a 1980s pursuit track frame, Shinkansen is envisioned as a kinetic sculpture, with speed and motion expressed in its composition. This ultra light and smooth single-speed ride comes fitted with a coaster hub brake.
